    Yes Gloucestershire managed to save around 20,000 pounds in the end I believe - and they timed it in March to coincide with the last finanical month of the year (in the UK).

    I think the trick was that beforehand, they asked everyone to hand in spare stationery items as part of a Council-wide "amnesty" and stored them in a central cupboard. Then during the month's ban, people could visit the cupboard for emergency supplies. In the end the spend didn't spike the followig month as was feared, so...

  • New EU GPP Criteria for Imaging Equipment Public space

    Dear Procurement Forum,

    The Commission has published new EU GPP Criteria for Imaging Equipment. The criteria have been developed for voluntary use by all public authorities interested in improving the environmental and economic performance of the printers, copy machines and multi-functional devices they are using.
