The H2020 project smart.met, whose aim is to drive the development of new technologies to deal with the collection and management of smart metering data through a joint Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP), is organising 4 Open Market Consultations (OMC) during the month of September 2017.
The next OMCs will take place in Brussels on Thursday the 21st and in Budapest on Wednesday the 27th September.

As I understand it, yes the testing standard was set, and the accreditation paperwork is all in order - the suspicion lies I believe on the laboratory itself. As you say, having the material tested yourself is an expensive and time-consuming business, though I don't really see an alternative in such a case.
